Scope first
Custom, full-service, Ultimate, and mobile work begins only after written scope approval.
Terms of Use & Service
These terms explain how Campbell Web Systems handles project acceptance, written scope, recurring services, managed hosting, client responsibilities, and service boundaries.
These public terms support business planning but do not replace a signed agreement, approved proposal, statement of work, invoice terms, or advice from a qualified attorney.
Custom, full-service, Ultimate, and mobile work begins only after written scope approval.
Eligibility, resource limits, renewals, backups, migration, and termination are defined before service begins.
Clients should retain ownership and recovery access for domains, email, and other business-critical accounts.
By visiting this website, submitting a request, using a payment link, accessing a client workspace, or purchasing services, you agree to use the website and services lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the website, submit forms, access protected areas, or make payments through the website.
Back to navigationWebsite content is general service information. It does not by itself create a client relationship, partnership, employment relationship, fiduciary duty, or binding project agreement.
A project or recurring service is accepted only after Campbell Web Systems confirms the scope, pricing, responsibilities, billing structure, and next steps in writing.
Back to navigationCampbell Web Systems may help organize website language, privacy-conscious form notices, analytics configuration, payment links, accessibility-minded structure, workflow planning, and security-minded technical practices. Campbell Web Systems does not provide legal, tax, accounting, medical, financial, insurance, or regulatory advice.
Clients remain responsible for obtaining qualified professional review when their business, content, industry, users, or data practices require it.
Back to navigationSubmitting a request, payment, deposit, or subscription does not guarantee acceptance. Campbell Web Systems may decline, pause, or request additional information when scope, budget, timeline, platform, technical condition, security risk, hosting eligibility, content, industry, support expectations, or resource requirements are not a suitable fit.
If payment is received before final acceptance and the service cannot be accepted, the payment will be handled under the applicable written scope, cancellation terms, and payment-provider rules.
Back to navigationThe approved proposal, statement of work, service agreement, invoice, written change order, or written confirmation controls the specific deliverables. It may define pages, features, forms, databases, portals, integrations, hosting, backups, support, revisions, milestones, dependencies, and responsibilities.
When these general terms conflict with a signed agreement or approved written scope, the more specific signed or approved document controls for that service. Work not identified in the approved scope is not included unless added in writing.
Back to navigationPrices displayed on the website are starting points, not final quotes. Final pricing may change based on content, page count, design, workflows, integrations, databases, migrations, hosting condition, traffic, storage, security, accessibility, urgency, revisions, and support requirements.
Unless expressly included, pricing does not include unlimited work, premium licenses, domain registration, third-party subscriptions, app-store accounts, advertising, stock assets, legal review, copywriting, external consultants, unusual migration work, excessive storage or traffic, or services outside the approved scope.
Back to navigationFixed-scope reviews and smaller services may require full payment before work begins. Larger website and system projects generally require a 40% deposit after scope approval. Scope-first services, including Full-Service Website Partner, Ultimate Website Partner, and Mobile App Build, require discovery and written scope approval before any project deposit is requested.
Deposits reserve scheduling capacity and fund intake, planning, discovery, design, or development. Unless the written agreement states otherwise, launch, production release, final transfer, submission support, or handoff may be withheld until required balances are paid.
Back to navigationCampbell Web Systems may use Stripe-hosted checkout, payment links, invoices, or subscription billing. Stripe processes payment details under its own terms, privacy practices, fraud-prevention controls, and dispute procedures. Campbell Web Systems does not directly store full payment-card numbers from Stripe-hosted checkout.
Where recurring billing is authorized, charges may renew each billing period until the service is cancelled or ended under the applicable written terms. Clients are responsible for accurate billing information and a current payment method.
Back to navigationStripe or another approved processor may issue receipts and transaction records. Delivery depends on the email address entered, processor settings, and the recipient’s email provider.
Clients should retain proposals, invoices, receipts, written scopes, approvals, and material project communications for their records.
Back to navigationProjects may be billed through a deposit, one or more milestones, and a final balance. The applicable written scope identifies when payments are due.
Campbell Web Systems may pause work, delay launch, withhold handoff, suspend recurring services, or postpone support when payments are late, disputed, reversed, or incomplete.
Back to navigationOnce scheduling, discovery, planning, consulting, design, development, migration, configuration, hosting setup, or support work has begun, payments may be non-refundable to the extent they cover reserved time, completed work, administrative effort, third-party charges, or project preparation.
If a client cancels, delays, stops responding, or fails to provide required access or materials, Campbell Web Systems may pause or close the work. Restarting may require a revised scope, new timeline, reactivation charge, or additional payment.
Back to navigationClients should contact Campbell Web Systems first about a payment, deliverable, subscription, deposit, milestone, or service concern so the issue can be reviewed in good faith.
Unauthorized disputes, reversals, or chargebacks may result in paused work, suspended hosting or support, delayed delivery, termination, and recovery of permitted costs.
Back to navigationClients must provide accurate information, timely feedback, lawful content, required approvals, and appropriate access to domains, DNS, hosting, email, payment, booking, analytics, APIs, developer accounts, and other project systems.
Client delays, incomplete materials, unavailable decision-makers, missing accounts, delayed approvals, or third-party review processes may extend schedules and may require rescheduling or additional fees.
Back to navigationClients are responsible for having the right to use all text, images, videos, logos, trademarks, documents, fonts, data, software, downloads, and other materials they provide.
Clients must not provide unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, confidential, or improperly obtained material. Clients are also responsible for the accuracy of business claims, prices, policies, professional statements, and regulated content published for their organization.
Back to navigationRevisions are limited to the approved scope. New pages, redesigned layouts, rewritten copy, added integrations, portals, dashboards, automations, migrations, hosting changes, emergency work, or other additions may require a written change order, revised schedule, and additional payment.
Campbell Web Systems may decline requests that are unclear, insecure, unlawful, technically unsuitable, outside available capacity, or inconsistent with the approved project.
Back to navigationProjects may depend on hosting providers, registrars, DNS services, email providers, WordPress, plugins, payment processors, booking services, analytics, APIs, app stores, security tools, backup platforms, and other third parties.
Third parties control their own prices, limits, outages, updates, approvals, policies, data practices, security, and account decisions. Campbell Web Systems is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, price changes, account suspensions, API changes, app-store decisions, or discontinued features.
Back to navigationUltimate Website Partner combines the Full-Service Website Partner relationship with managed hosting for one qualifying CWS-built website when hosting is expressly included in the approved scope. Hosting is not automatically available for every site, platform, traffic level, application, compliance need, or third-party configuration.
Existing or externally built websites may require technical review, cleanup, migration, rebuilding, security remediation, or a different hosting arrangement before acceptance. Campbell Web Systems may decline or condition hosting when a site presents malware, unsupported software, excessive resource use, prohibited content, unusual risk, incompatible technology, or requirements beyond available infrastructure.
Back to navigationUnless the written scope states otherwise, the client should remain the registrant and owner of its domain, registrar account, business email account, payment accounts, analytics accounts, and other business-critical services. Campbell Web Systems may assist with configuration and coordination but does not acquire ownership merely by providing support.
DNS and email changes can affect website availability, mail delivery, authentication, third-party services, and account access. Clients must disclose active email, verification, and external DNS dependencies before changes are made and remain responsible for third-party renewals and account recovery information.
Back to navigationManaged hosting and related care are recurring services billed in advance at the frequency stated in the approved scope or subscription. Continued service depends on current payment and continued technical eligibility.
Domain renewals, premium licenses, unusual storage, paid security services, email hosting, content-delivery services, specialized compliance tools, and other third-party charges are excluded unless specifically listed. Provider price increases or changed requirements may require a plan or price adjustment with reasonable notice where practical.
Back to navigationManaged hosting is not unlimited. Reasonable limits may apply to storage, databases, traffic, bandwidth, processor use, memory, email activity, backup size, file count, automated jobs, support time, and other infrastructure resources.
If a site exceeds available capacity or causes instability, Campbell Web Systems may recommend optimization, remove abusive processes, temporarily restrict activity, or require a higher-capacity plan or separate infrastructure. Prohibited activity includes malware, spam, phishing, unlawful content, credential theft, abusive automation, unauthorized scanning, and attempts to compromise systems.
Back to navigationWhere included, Campbell Web Systems may provide automated backups, restore assistance, uptime checks, and hosting-environment monitoring. Backups are a recovery aid, not a permanent archive, and no particular restore point, retention period, or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed unless a written service level says otherwise.
Maintenance, updates, security events, third-party outages, network failures, software defects, traffic spikes, attacks, client changes, and force-majeure events may interrupt service. Clients should retain independent copies of essential content, records, and business data.
Back to navigationCampbell Web Systems uses a security-minded approach but cannot guarantee that any website, server, plugin, API, email system, form, payment processor, or internet transmission will be completely secure.
Clients are responsible for strong unique passwords, multi-factor authentication where available, timely removal of former users, accurate access lists, lawful user permissions, current contact information, and prompt reporting of suspected compromise. Credentials should be shared only through approved secure methods.
Back to navigationCampbell Web Systems may suspend, restrict, isolate, or terminate hosting or support for nonpayment, security risk, malware, abusive activity, unlawful content, repeated policy violations, excessive resource use, compromised credentials, unsupported software, or conduct that threatens the client, Campbell Web Systems, a provider, or other customers.
When practical and safe, Campbell Web Systems will attempt to communicate material concerns before termination. Immediate action may be required to contain active threats, legal risk, provider enforcement, or infrastructure harm.
Back to navigationMigration, cancellation, export, and transition work must be scheduled and may require separate pricing. If the account is current and the request is technically feasible, Campbell Web Systems may provide a standard export of client-owned website files and databases that are available within the managed environment.
Exports may exclude Campbell Web Systems internal tools, reusable systems, server configurations, third-party licensed assets, provider-only features, expired backups, secrets, and materials the client does not own. After termination, hosted data may be removed after a reasonable transition period, while limited copies may remain temporarily in backups, logs, accounting records, or records required for security and legal purposes.
Back to navigationPublic forms and ordinary email must not be used for passwords, full payment-card details, Social Security numbers, protected health information, private legal records, confidential customer datasets, or other highly sensitive information.
A client must disclose before work begins if a project may involve regulated, medical, financial, legal, educational, children’s, location, biometric, authentication, or other sensitive data. Additional agreements, professional review, specialized infrastructure, consent tools, or a different provider may be required.
Back to navigationCampbell Web Systems may provide technical SEO, metadata, sitemaps, Search Console, analytics, performance work, accessibility-minded implementation, conversion recommendations, and reporting support.
No search ranking, traffic level, lead volume, revenue, conversion rate, accessibility certification, legal compliance outcome, platform approval, indexing schedule, uptime percentage, or business result is guaranteed unless expressly stated in a signed agreement.
Back to navigationThis website and client projects may use Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, Search Console, cookies, pixels, logs, or similar tools. Those providers process information under their own policies.
The client is responsible for determining whether its site requires consent banners, opt-in or opt-out controls, masking, regional notices, industry disclosures, or professional privacy review.
Back to navigationMonthly Care may include limited updates, checks, edits, form testing, backup review, troubleshooting, or improvement planning according to the selected plan. It does not include unlimited development, major redesigns, emergency response, malware cleanup, migrations, new integrations, legal review, or work outside the plan unless approved in writing.
Monthly Care is generally paid in advance. Unused allowances do not roll over unless the written plan says otherwise. External websites may require an eligibility review before support begins.
Back to navigationSupport may be provided through approved email, forms, client workspaces, scheduled calls, or other agreed channels. Response and resolution times are not guaranteed unless a written service level applies.
After-hours work, emergency recovery, urgent security response, priority scheduling, complex troubleshooting, major restoration, or third-party escalation may require separate pricing and availability confirmation.
Back to navigationBefore launch or release, the client may be asked to review pages, content, forms, links, payment paths, functionality, accounts, DNS, and related deliverables. Approval authorizes production release based on the reviewed state.
Later changes may be treated as support, revisions, or new work. Campbell Web Systems may withhold launch, transfer, deployment, or handoff until required payments, approvals, access, and client responsibilities are complete.
Back to navigationClients retain ownership of their provided branding, content, and materials. Unless a written agreement states otherwise, Campbell Web Systems retains ownership of pre-existing and reusable methods, components, internal tools, processes, templates, code patterns, and general know-how.
Campbell Web Systems may reference completed work in a portfolio, case study, proposal, or marketing material unless confidentiality is requested in writing and accepted.
Back to navigationVisitors and clients may not attack, disrupt, overload, scrape unlawfully, reverse engineer, exploit, spam, misuse credentials, bypass controls, distribute malware, or interfere with the website, client portal, forms, hosting, payment links, analytics, or related systems.
Campbell Web Systems may block, report, preserve evidence of, or restrict activity that appears fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, malicious, or harmful.
Back to navigationTo the fullest extent permitted by law, Campbell Web Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, lost-profit, lost-revenue, lost-data, or business-interruption damages arising from website use, project inquiries, third-party providers, hosting interruptions, security incidents, platform decisions, analytics, APIs, DNS, email, or services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim unless applicable law or a signed agreement requires otherwise.
Back to navigationClients are responsible for claims, losses, costs, or expenses arising from materials they provide, inaccurate statements, unlawful content, infringement, misuse, security failures under their control, violation of third-party rights, or failure to meet their own legal, privacy, accessibility, industry, employment, tax, or regulatory obligations.
Back to navigationCampbell Web Systems may update these terms as services, hosting arrangements, tools, payment methods, providers, security practices, or business operations change. The updated date identifies the current public version.
Updated terms apply prospectively to continued website use and future services. Existing signed agreements remain governed by their own amendment and priority terms.
